Making money online can be very confusing. So, today we’re going to focus on one thing that is proven and will surely make you money – Affiliate marketing.
It is better to master the art of one thing because nobody can be an expert at everything.
So, today’s is focused on different ways you can make money with affiliate marketing, so you’ll get some great ideas of what you’ll be doing for your business’ website.
Method 1:
Niche-Product Focus
This method is where you build your site around a product or a group of products that are very specific.
- Tablets for kids
- Bluetooth speaker headphones
- RVs
- Walkie talkies
- Big screen 3D TVs
- Pre-workout supplements
- Running shoes
- Bass Bats
- Hummingbird feeders
- Pellet smokers
- Bulletproof backpacks
Your site will be built up of main types of content.
- Product Reviews
- Product Tutorials
- Product Troubleshooting
- Industry News
- Question & Answers
Example content ideas using the niches from above could be:
- How to wall mount a 60-inch 3D TV?
- Which workout supplement does not contain beta alanine?
- What’s the best bass boat for newbies?
- Top 10 tablets for kids with wifi
- Traeger Wifi Enabled Smoker review
- C4 Pre-Workout review
Method 2:
Build an Authority Site
Building an authority site requires too much work, so this is more a long-term plan. Unlike the niche-product focus method, you’ll target a group of people in mind, or a hobby, or a set of products with a common theme. The idea here is that you’ll be building this website for decades, so you want enough room for topics to write about.
As a newbie, you don’t want to go too broad and take on too much work!
For example, “Sports” is way too broad. You’ll never have enough time focus and write all that content or become an authority in the sports world. “Sports” could be anything from track and field or badminton to chess.
A more focused audience could be “parents who want to teach their kids how to swim”.
With this topic, you leave yourself open to new trends, and thousands of possible products to recommend. You still have a focused group of people with a similar goal, and you can write with this group of people in mind.
Method 3:
Lifestyle Blog
Lifestyle blogging is a little bit hard but can be done. If you have an amazing life, if you have something that you think other people wish they could do, or have a magnetic personality, then you can start a lifestyle blog.
This is too broad for an ordinary person, like myself, but I’ve seen a lot of people have success with this, most of them are celebrities or tv-personalities.
With this method the product is YOU. You can write about your life, your adventures, your fashion taste, and whatever else you do. This includes a wide variety of product and service reviews, all of which include affiliate links or are sponsored posts.
If you ha
ppen to have an open schedule with your job and you travel a lot. You can be a travel blogger. Take amazing photos from around the world and promote things like discount flights, hotel booking, luggage, and other travel gear.
If you are a fitness coach, you can share your daily routines, client success, and seminars you attend or run, then show people how to be fit and happy by living a fit, healthy and happy lifestyle. Then you can promote or recommend products likes food supplements, training programs, training gadgets, etc.
Method 4:
Site Flipping
Sit flipping is very popular because it mixes elements of quick profit and all the fun of internet marketing.
With this method, you choose the topics, you build the sites, and get them started making money. Rather than wait for profits to trickle in and grow, you can ‘flip’ or sell the site to someone else who wants the cash flow.
A website can often earn 20x-40x its monthly earnings, so if you can build a site to earn $1000/month in six months (very possible), you could flip the site for $2000-$40,000.
BONUS:
Adsense Site
AdSense Site is the simplest method because it doesn’t require much strategy. You simply place Google Adsense (Google Ads) on your website and you start making money. That’s it. You don’t have to do any promotions at all. You simply write and blog whatever you want and if you can get traffic to your site, you get paid by Google.
More traffic means more money. No promotions, no affiliate links, no product reviews.
However, Google doesn’t pay that much. Just a few cents per click. So you need a lot of traffic to make good money with this method. The simplicity of it still very attractive to many people, and most of the Buzzfeed or blogs you read online are monetized using this method.

Of course, Google doesn’t pay very much. Just a few pennies per click. So, you need a lot of traffic to make good money with this model. Still, the simplicity of this type of business is very attractive to many people, and most of the Buzzfeed or Mommy Blogs you read online are monetized using this method.
